Camp Bonaventure, Salmon Lodge, and The Club on the Bonaventure represent the very best of Atlantic salmon fishing in Québec’s Gaspé Peninsula and access to three of eastern Canada’s most famous wild salmon rivers: the Bonaventure, Petite Cascapedia, and the legendary Grand Cascapedia – home of the renowned Cascapedia Giants.

The classic salmon camp combines comfort, tradition, and exceptional fishing. Secluded yet conveniently close to Bonaventure Airport, the lodge offers a full-day guided fishing experience with riverside lunches prepared by your guides.

Fishing styles change with the season:

June: canoe and wade fishing from traditional 26-foot river canoes
July – August: prime dry-fly season with predominantly wade fishing
September: dynamic conditions with both canoe and wade fishing depending on water levels

Perched above the Grand Cascapedia River, Salmon Lodge boasts one of the finest river views in the Gaspé. One of the river’s original and most storied lodges, it delivers an intimate and authentic Atlantic salmon experience.

Guests enjoy full-day guided fishing with riverside lunches and the same seasonal variety of canoe and wade fishing — from early-season high water to late-summer dry-fly action.

The Club on the Bonaventure

The Club offers the most exclusive experience of all three properties. Overlooking crystal-clear pools on the Bonaventure River, guests enjoy miles of private water and exceptional sight-fishing opportunities.

Fishing is split-day, returning to the lodge for an in-house lunch. Travel time from lodge to river is never more than twenty minutes, placing world-class salmon water literally at your doorstep.

Seasonal fishing mirrors the river’s natural rhythm: canoe and wading in June, dry-fly wading in midsummer, and a mix of both as autumn approaches.
