The Accommodation
Welcome to the epitome of Canadian comfort at Tincup Wilderness Lodge!
Imagine yourself in one of the cosy log cabins, each divided into two units to ensure your comfort. The main lodge and three smaller cabins are built with red Canadian cedar wood, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Each cabin boasts its own hot-water shower and private toilet, and LED lighting, solar-powered electricity, and a woodstove to ensure you have everything you need to relax and unwind.
On arrival, you will find two freshly made up single beds with comfortable health-mattresses, which can easily be re-configured to form one double bed if you prefer. Local artist paintings adorn the rooms, creating a unique atmosphere.
The larger lodge comprises a cozy living area with a woodstove, as well as a dining area and separate kitchen. Enjoy the cozy lounge and bar in a log home direct on the shore of the lake.
The lodge was rebuilt and renovated a few years ago, with a lot of attention to detail. It runs nearly entirely on solar power. All the equipment is kept to meet top standards, and the wood furniture is custom-made to maintain an authentic Canadian look.
After an active day, what could be better than unwinding in a hot tub or sauna. Soothe those tired muscles and let the day’s adventures melt away!
Cuisine
The Tincup Wilderness Lodge is not only renowned for its excellent fishing, but also for its delicious food. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll find exquisite soups, salads and fresh sandwiches for lunch or a snack. In the evenings you’ll be treated to a varied international cuisine. Only the freshest local produce is used and the lodge grows their own salads and herbs in the greenhouse just behind the lodge. Fresh berries and mushrooms are picked from the surrounding area. Coffee, tea and freshly home baked sweets are available throughout the day. Vegetarian and vegan meals are available by prior arrangement.
This is the perfect place to unwind and soothe a busy mind.
