This wilderness of endless fish-holding areas and limitless flats make Providence the absolute fly fishing eden.

In diverse habitats, including expansive flats, channels and reefs, anglers can target and cast to large Giant Trevally, Bumphead Parrotfish, Triggerfish, Bluefin Trevally, Milkfish and Bonefish. Conservation: FlyCastaway supports the African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity. The guides gather fin samples of fish caught by guests and guides for a  DNA project on a variety of Indian Ocean species, including Bonefish (Albula Vulpes), Giant Trevally (Caranx Ignobilis) and Bluefin Trevally (Caranx Melampygus).
FlyCastaway guides also support the Billfish Foundation and Seychelles Sport Fishing Club in a sailfish tagging program. All sailfish caught on Farquhar and Providence Atoll’s are tagged and recorded for this project.
